*Metropolitan Mosquito Control District Activity Has Begun
Metropolitan Mosquito Control District began their field season this week and wanted to send a message to cities to notify residents that they may see MMCD trucks, helicopters, drones, and staff in neighborhoods, parks, and near wetlands. This year they have new bright yellow “Public Health Mosquito Control” safety vests that all staff will be wearing when working outdoors.
They have created a press release to explain what they are doing and how people can contact them if there are concerns.
